THE FIVE STEPS :

Manufacturing of Plastic

1. Extraction of Raw Material: Initially, raw materials like crude oil or natural gas are extracted from the ground.
2. Cracking Process: The raw materials are subjected to a "cracking process" where they are broken down into smaller molecules, typically in a steam cracker.
3. Polymerization: The smaller molecules are then chemically bonded together to form polymers through processes like polymerization or polycondensation.
4. Molding or Shaping: The polymers are then molded or shaped into desired forms using various techniques such as injection molding, blow molding, or extrusion.
5. Cooling and Finishing: Finally, the molded plastic is cooled and undergoes finishing processes like cutting, painting, or coating.

Manufacturing of Paper

1. Pulping: Wood is converted into pulp using mechanical or chemical processes to break down the wood fibers.
2. Cleaning and Screening: The pulp is then cleaned to remove contaminants and screened to remove larger particles.
3. Bleaching: To achieve a white color, the pulp is bleached using chemicals like chlorine or hydrogen peroxide.
4. Paper Formation: The clean pulp is spread onto a paper machine where water is drained away, leaving behind a mat of intertwined fibers.
5. Drying and Cutting: The paper is then dried and cut into sheets or rolls according to the desired dimensions.
